Thelma's of Wausau, Ammilishan in Hubertus, Brides 'n Belles in Reedsburg, and
Dream Weaver in Stevens Point. All I saw was the same cheaply made gowns at high
prices. When I stepped into With This Ring, Jill (the owner) made my bridal shopping
experience change it's tenor. Jill actually wanted to help me find a bridal gown that I liked
and wanted to make it a good experience. The things that were different: 1. At other
placesm you are told to pick out 3-6 dresse, try them on, and then kind of get pressured to
buy one of them that day (because how dare you want to tryn on more than that). With Jill, I
was able to pick out as many as I liked. I tried on 12! 2. Other stores have lower end
designers that have mass produced dresses. They are kind of like Wal-Marts of the bridal
industry with Chinese-made gowns. The dresses lack the underlayers of crinolines and
have only a lining (because you need to pay $200 or more to buy the slip to go with it).
Beadwork and sequins are loose and the embriodery isn't neat. At WTR, the dresses
already incorperated into the dress - no extra costs! 3. The prices at other places may look
good, but because of they way the dress is constructed, you need to buy the extras like the
crinoline. Add the extras to the dress price and you don't have as good as a deal anymore.
With This Ring's dresses are in the same price range as the other dress places, but the
higher quality dresses already have those crinolines and such included in the prices. 4.
The other places I went to had the same basic gowns. It was like they made them with a
dress cookie cutter. At With This Ring, there were gowns that fit that cookie cutter, but also
ones that wer beautifully different and unique -- like what you see in the Knot magazine,
but don't find in a store unless you go to someplace big like Chicago. 5. Other places rip
off the labels and don't allow cameras because they are afraid you might go elsewhere to
get it cheaper. Jill gladly told me who the designer was (and the labels were on the
dresses) and let my mom take pictures so I can send them to show my bridesmaids that
live out west. 6. The service at the other stores ranges from rude to pushy. Jill was very
nice and truly cared that I found the right dress. She made shopping for a dress fun
instead of the stressful mess that I'd had with other shops. I will admit, I did not buy my
dress yesterday because I've only narrowed it down to four. But, I'm set up to visit again in
a couple of weeks and am bringing both my parents and most of my bridesmaids and
hope to narrow it down further. I'm really enjoying the wedding dress experience now and I
have Jill to thank for that. I highly recommend With This Ring and recommend that you

Are you kidding me, I just went here recently, go by their window display, it is prices are
competitive and very reasonable. Check this place for ALL your wedding needs.- J.D.
